Facilitator and Mental Health Trainer

James is a Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA) licensed instructor, approved to deliver the Adult and Youth two-day MHFA First Aider courses, one-day MHFA Champion and half-day Awareness courses in all formats.

James specialises in delivering MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) to business & commercial organisations, elite sports institutions & work place learning providers. He also extensively delivers MHFA as Associate for the charity MIND. Based in Swindon, Wiltshire, James has over 25 years of experience in senior HR roles, and has been an MHFA instructor for several years. Feedback from delegates is overwhelmingly positive and James takes pride in making the training as engaging, fun (where appropriate) and impactful as possible.

With a strong, proven background in commercial HR, training & employee relations, he has a thorough working knowledge of Employment Law and HR practice. He has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Line Managers and HR when supporting employees. James is a Chartered Member of the CIPD & Associate Member of the Royal Society for Public Health. He continues to work closely with Business Leaders, HR Teams, Employment Lawyers, Trade Unions and Occupational Health professionals.
