Wraw Resilience Report 2022
Landmark research opens up employee resilience
Introducing The Wraw Resilience Report 2022
The Wraw Resilience Report 2022 presents data collected from over 7,100 working individuals globally. Unlike other reports that measure the impact of past events, The Wraw Resilience Report measures the resilience skills that working people are using to manage current and future pressures. It is a powerful predictor of future performance.
The aim of the report is to help employers develop a deeper understanding of the importance of resilience within the workforce. This awareness can help inform new strategies to support employees to cope better with challenging situations, rebound from setbacks and recover more quickly.
The report includes:
- A breakdown of resilience across age, gender, seniority, industry and sector
- Expert recommendations to turn insight into action
- Insight from leaders in wellbeing at NatWest, Human Rights Watch, Ecotone, Boehringer Ingelheim, St John Ambulance and Kinch Lyons.
Summary of the Wraw Resilience Report
This year’s report shows that regardless of where or how people choose to work, resilience is low and the risk of burnout remains. At a time of ongoing volatility and uncertainty, the report highlights the importance of effective leadership, and the significant impact leader behaviour has on employee wellbeing.
Key findings include:
- Younger workers report the lowest resilience levels
- Leaders have a significant impact on the wellbeing of employees
- Public sector and non-profit workers are feeling less resilient than private sector workers
- Non-managers are feeling the impact of pressure more than managers and executives
- Home, hybrid or office – the risk of burnout remains
Implementing early intervention strategies can reduce the risk of burnout and maintain a more stable, engaged workforce. With high numbers of unfilled job vacancies and skills shortages in many sectors, businesses that look after their people will be rewarded with higher retention rates and the stability to support business growth and profit.
