Programme Overview
Mental Health First Aiders play a vital role in supporting workplace mental wellbeing. They are trained to provide support when an employee experiences mental health issues.
Our MHFA accredited course is delivered by experts in workplace mental health.
Outcomes
- Understand the important factors affecting mental ill health.
- Identify the signs and symptoms for a range of mental health conditions.
- Provide Mental Health First Aid to someone experiencing a mental health issue or crisis.
- Listen non-judgementally and hold supportive conversations using the Mental Health First Aid action plan.
- Signpost people to professional help, recognising that Mental Health First Aiders do not replace the need for ongoing support.

Programme Overview
The MHFA course provides lifelong skills. However, MHFA England recommends that MHFAiders refresh their skills every three years. Our MHFA refresher course enables your MHFAiders to brush up on their skills to perform their roles effectively.

This depends on the size of your organisation and its specific needs. A general guideline is to have one trained Mental Health First Aider for every 20 employees.
