The Mental Health First Aid 2-day programme is ideal for those who are looking to increase their awareness and understanding around mental health and build their confidence to offer valuable first aid to people suffering from mental distress in the workplace and in the community.

Mental Health First Aiders offer a range of support:

  • Build greater understanding among colleagues and peers of the importance of mental health
  • Reduce stigma and discrimination around mental health
  • Offer timely support to prevent mental health problems developing into a more serious condition
  • Provide comfort to colleagues and peers who might be experiencing mental ill health

  • Offer support to preserve life, where an individual may be of danger to themselves or others
