Wellbeing Campaign Inspiration

It can be hard to know how to bring these awareness dates to life in your wellbeing strategy. To offer inspiration, our team of wellbeing specialists have shared some examples of how to mark these dates.

Parental Mental Health Day (January 27th 2024)

  • Signpost resources and tools that can help working parents manage their mental health effectively.
  • Encourage members of the organisation to share their experiences as a working parent in a dedicated space.
  • Consider running specialist workshops and training designed to support working parents.

Mental Health Awareness Week (13-19th May 2024)

  • Run a series of events and workshops designed to foster greater mental wellbeing.
  • Offer specialist manager training to help them spot poor employee mental health and offer support.
  • Run an internal communications campaign, signposting employees to existing mental health support (e.g., EAP).

National Walking Month (May 2024)

  • Encourage employees to get their steps in through a walking or steps challenge. You could gamify this by offering prizes for the most steps taken or most consistent participation.
  • Promote the benefits of walking for physical and mental health through internal communications.

World Menopause Day (October 18th 2024)

  • Consider running a specialist menopause workshop to talk about the menopause, its symptoms, and how to manage them.
  • Share resources and support available within the organisation for those going through menopause.
